In this video, I explain why I went with the GoPro Max 2 and why I believe it offers the best image quality you can get from a 360 camera right now. I compared my options with the DJI Osmo 360 and Insta360, and after weighing the pros and cons, the Max 2 stood out for its video quality, stabilization, ease of use, and overall versatility. I break down what sets the GoPro Max 2 apart, who it’s best for, and what kind of content it really excels at—whether you’re creating action footage, cinematic shots, or everyday vlogs. 👍 Like, comment, and subscribe for more camera reviews and real-world testing. About This Video

In this video, I break down why I ended up choosing the GoPro Max 2 over the DJI Osmo 360 and Insta360. For me, it came down to two big things: GoPro Labs and the interchangeable lenses. I love that I can jump into GoPro Labs, change a ton of settings, and crank the bitrate all the way up to 300 MB/s. That alone has made the footage look absolutely incredible over the last few days, and image quality is the number one thing I care about with a 360 camera. The second huge reason is durability and real-world use. 360 lenses are fragile, and I’m planning to use this camera cycling and mountain biking—so scratches are a real concern. With the Max 2, swapping a lens is simple and can be done on the go, whereas with DJI you’re sending it in. I also talk about shooting 10-bit in a log profile, why I find GoPro’s log easier to grade than DJI’s, and how the Max 2’s true 8K and natural color help it fit into my workflow. Plus, I show why 360 cameras are so fun for solo creators—drone-like angles, tons of reframing options, and dynamic cuts from one walk.
