In this video I’m reviewing the Weeylite K21 RGB light stick, and I’m not kidding when I say I’ve been using it nonstop for the past couple weeks. I liked it so much I literally bought three of them, and I show you how I’m using them in my setup as orange and blue accent lights. The big headline is size: it’s a 12-inch light that’s easy to throw in a backpack, and unlike my larger lights (that I’ve had to check on flights and even dent in luggage), I can carry these on and not stress about them getting wrecked. I break down brightness, color modes, and why this thing is so flexible for creators. Even at 1% it’s surprisingly bright, and it’ll crank to 100% if you need it. You get HSL/RGB control, a 2500K–8500K CCT range, and solid color accuracy (CRI 95), so it can hang next to higher-end lights when you’re matching color on a shoot. I also show the practical stuff I care about on travel jobs: magnetic mounting for quick placement on metal surfaces, built-in angles for easy 45° placement, USB-C charging, and a 1/4-20 thread for tossing it on a mini stand as a hair light. My only real downside: it’s not a key light, but as an accent, hair, or fill light, it’s a no-brainer for the price.
