In this video I break down five different styles of videos you can create with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and why I’ve been so impressed with it after using it for over a year. If you’re a vlogger, this camera honestly feels like it was built for you—built-in gimbal, super clean 4K, and it’s so small that you can just flip it into reverse mode, tap to focus on yourself, and start walking and talking without the footage looking shaky. I also show how it captures really nice b-roll, like the coffee shop shots I got in Portland. From there I jump into travel videos (Spain was a big one for me—Barcelona and Madrid), and why the Pocket 3 is way easier than hauling a full gimbal + big camera setup around a city. I also compare it to a GoPro: I used to take my GoPro everywhere, but the Pocket 3’s built-in gimbal and larger sensor give me noticeably better-looking footage—though I still think a GoPro makes sense for water since the Pocket 3 isn’t waterproof. Then I cover product reviews using tap-to-track, event coverage where the lightweight setup saves your arms for long shoots, and real estate videos where smooth walk-throughs (plus slow motion and a long monopod “fake drone” angle) can make your footage look way more cinematic.
