I just got back from Oakmont Country Club outside of Pittsburgh, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. In this video, I take you with me to the 2025 U.S. Open setup and walk through the massive Merchandise Pavilion so you can see what it’s actually like inside. The first thing that hits you is how it’s laid out like a department store—there’s just an unreal amount of gear, from high-end apparel to collectibles. I start with the Peter Millar section (polos, quarter zips, and more) and I point out why I liked them: the U.S. Open logo is embroidered, which instantly makes it feel more premium. Then I head to the hat wall—easily the most hats I’ve ever seen in person, with what felt like close to 200 designs. I share what was popular (the ball marker hats) and why I personally chose a different 100% cotton Oakmont hat with the iconic squirrel logo. From there, I show the middle merch area with towels, mugs, pins, flags, and more, and I break down the six items I bought (with prices). I also grabbed some rainy-day B-roll, and once it cleared up, I got footage of the old-school scoreboard and that huge squirrel photo spot you definitely don’t want to miss.
