In this video, I’m breaking down 5 easy ways to make your DJI Osmo Pocket 3 footage look way more cinematic—fast. The whole idea came from a morning in Virginia Beach when I woke up to heavy fog and just ran outside with the Pocket 3. I couldn’t believe how good the footage looked, and because I was shooting D-Log M, I was able to push the grade a lot in post. I was going for a Blade Runner vibe, and having that flatter profile gave me the flexibility to really dial it in. From there, I walk you through the exact things I lean on when I want “instant” production value: using a tiny Freewell anamorphic attachment for wider shots and those iconic flares, filming at the right time of day (sunrise, sunset, blue hour, and even night), and using slow motion—60fps is my sweet spot—so you can flex reality and add emotion.
