About This Video

In this video I’m doing a straight comparison between the two big Bambu Lab AMS heater/dryer attachments that have hit the market: the SUNLU AMS Heater and the EIBOS Series X Tetra. I’ve already reviewed both individually on the channel, but here I’m boiling it down to a proper pros-and-cons battle—what you get, how they install, how they vent moisture, and where the real value is depending on how you actually print. The SUNLU unit is the simpler install (four screws and you’re done) and it runs as one large heated chamber with two heating elements and blower fans, covering roughly 35–70°C and showing humidity on the touchscreen. The downside for me is the manual exhaust port—you’ve got to remember to open it during use. The EIBOS Series X Tetra costs more, but it’s the smarter setup in my opinion: four genuinely separate heated chambers, individually controlled (with humidity monitoring per bay) and an auto-opening air vent as soon as you power it on. Yes, the four screens and extra cabling look a bit “busy” on the front, but if you’re only drying one or two spools—especially in a print farm—the per-chamber heating can save you money long-term. My winner here is the EIBOS Series X Tetra, by a small margin, purely on those practical advantages.
