Hey everyone, Phil from 3DPUK Tech Channel here. In this video I unbox and run through the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K resin printer, which is the upgraded version over the earlier 12K model, and I show you exactly what you get in the box—tool kit, gloves, masks, scrapers, filters, USB, drip tray, and that new build plate with the winged handle design. I also cover the build plate’s laser-etched surface for adhesion, the hands-free auto-levelling setup, and a quick look over the UI, Wi‑Fi setup, self-test, screen tests, tank cleaning, and resin calibration tools. The big headline feature for me is the heated resin vat. My studio was absolutely freezing (around 1–5°C, and I even saw resin temp at 8°C), and normally that’s a recipe for failed prints. Here, the printer preheats the vat, agitates the resin by moving the build plate up and down, and once it hits the target temp (I saw it reach 26°C in about 3–4 minutes) it just starts printing—no babysitting. I also go over the AI camera for monitoring and timelapses (with built-in light), the tilt-release system (no ACF, so no fast resin needed), and I show real prints including the classic rook plus models from STLFlix and Fotis Mint—especially impressive considering I’m more of an FDM guy.
