About This Video

In this video I unbox and review the Eibos Oceanus 3-in-1 automatic resin post-processing system, and I run through the whole setup from scratch. I’m mainly FDM and lasers on this channel, but I wanted to venture into resin a bit more, and this unit is aimed exactly at the part I always found a chore: the wash, dry and cure. Setup is genuinely simple—connect the inlet/outlet hoses, drop them into your alcohol (or water if you’re using water-washable resin), plug it in, and everything is controlled from the touchscreen. I show you the touchscreen options (fill level low/medium/high, then wash time, dry time, and cure time) and demonstrate how it fills the tank automatically, kicks into a proper vortex wash with the propeller, then moves onto drying with a strong airflow, and finally curing with 96 UV LEDs for even coverage. I tested it with a few prints (including a translucent pink monk and a Mandalorian) and the big takeaway is: when the part fits the reservoir, it’s brilliant—set it, walk away, come back and it’s done. My main gripe is the hoses: they’re very rigid, so you need to be careful they don’t pop out and cause a mess, and you absolutely need to think about containment and safety when you’re working with alcohol and resin.
