Thank you PCBWAY for todays video sponsor, a leading manufacturer of PCB boards, CNC, 3D printing,  SMD stencils, and much more with amazing value, fast turnaround and low minimums. check out the channel sponsor https://www.pcbway.com @PCBWay filament guide link I would suggest trying to print multiple colour as it comes, if this doesn't seem to work and you have retraction faults like I did, then add these https://makerworld.com/en/models/1199990-ace-angler-with-light#profileId-1238112 download the stl and multiple the print x 4 to.get 4 adding Ace Pro riser https://www.makeronline.com/en/model/s1-combo-ace-pro-spacer(bracket)-optimized-version-%E6%94%AF%E6%9E%B6%2F%E5%A2%9E%E9%AB%98%E6%9E%B6/159303.html?fbclid=IwY2xjawJLjs5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHQ5irTRYt8-lU1Kq1mqCtaBxxojHViNRw5CBVuSjC1KkTp4CUklP8C44tQ_aem__5H6ifFPBHO-NIOrZpe1Bg don't forget to like and subscribe to my YouTube channel https://uk.anycubic.com/products/kobra-s1-combo @ANYCUBIC3D Don't forget to like and subscribe 😉 https://3dpuk-tech-channel-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/store-design/layout/index/ https://linktr.ee/3dpuk https://buymeacoffee.com/3dpuktechchannel models featured flexipets https://www.patreon.com/FlexiPetz?utm_campaign=creatorshare_fan Pipecox https://www.patreon.com/pipecox?utm_campaign=creatorshare_fan

About This Video

In this video I unbox and review the Anycubic Kobra S1, Anycubic’s first CoreXY machine, and I go through the full setup from transport screws (don’t skip those) to calibration, auto bed levelling and resonance testing. I also show the Ace Pro multi-colour unit, how it connects up, and why the built-in dryer is a genuinely big plus compared to a lot of other multi-colour CoreXY options. The whole build and initial setup was honestly pretty seamless, and the interface guides you step-by-step. Where things got spicy was multi-colour reliability. I managed great looking prints, but I also hit repeated retraction abnormal errors (code 11512), filament getting stuck, and failures that meant a “22 hour” multi-colour job turned into nearly 30 hours with multiple restarts. Single-colour long prints were solid, and bed levelling on my unit was spot on, but for a printer sold on multi-colour CoreXY, I don’t think I should need community mods just to get consistent colour changes. My takeaway: great value, great features (especially the dryer), but it needs fine-tuning around the Ace Pro filament path/retraction to be truly plug-and-play.
