About This Video

In this video I review the Creality Hi Combo multi-color 3D printer that Creality sent over for me to test. As always, it’s a free review unit but everything you hear is my own opinion—open, honest and transparent. I take you through the unboxing, what’s in the box, and the build (it’s about 95% pre-assembled), then I run the startup self-test, Wi‑Fi setup, and show you the touchscreen layout, the built-in camera/light with a privacy cover, and the RFID reader on the side for single-spool use. The big talking point is the CFS system: this combo comes with one CFS for 4 colors, but the Hi can be extended to four CFS units for 16 colors, which is a massive selling point at this budget level. I show how to mount the filament buffer, route the PTFE, connect the CFS behind the screen, and how the CFS reads spools (I actually turned off startup detection because it was getting time-consuming). Then I run real prints—multi-color models with prime towers and purge waste, a full-bed Dummy 13, and I even demonstrate print resume after a power cut. My main “issues” were slicer/skill related (like red bleeding into white), not the printer itself, and overall I’ve genuinely enjoyed using it.
