No key required, no fingerprint sensor to touch. I also show what installation is like on a standard residential door. For me, it took around 25–30 minutes with a screwdriver (and maybe a drill if your door holes don’t line up). After setup in the Wyze app, I tested palm unlock, keypad codes (including anti-peep code), mechanical key backup, and the auto-lock feature that uses a built-in gyroscope to lock when the door closes. My real-world take: palm unlock is super convenient—especially when your hands are full of groceries—and the feature set is strong for the price. The biggest “but” is the keyhole: it’s great for emergencies, but it can also feel like it defeats the purpose of fully keyless entry and could be a concern for some people.
