About This Video

Today was a very exciting day because I finally got my hands on the brand new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. In this video, I unbox it, show you exactly what Samsung includes (and what they don’t), and then I take a quick first look at the design, display, and cameras. Inside the box you get the phone, a USB‑C cable, SIM ejector, and paperwork—no charger, and the cable isn’t braided, which is honestly disappointing when you’re spending this much money. I also go over the big highlights: the 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2600 nits brightness, plus Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass protection. The built-in S Pen is still here, but I don’t love the new fit—now you can’t put it in any direction like before, and it doesn’t sit as flush because of the curve. Performance-wise, it’s running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy with a larger vapor chamber for cooling. For cameras, I test the zoom levels and talk through the setup: 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP 5x telephoto, plus a 3x lens and 100x Space Zoom. I also walk through a ton of new Galaxy AI features (like writing assist, interpreter, audio eraser, and more), and I show the privacy display setting and why I’d keep maximum protection off. This is a first impression—full testing is coming.
