In this video, I’m unboxing and testing the eufy Permanent Outdoor Lights S4 in the big 200ft (60m) kit, and this one is loaded: 144 RGBWW LEDs, a built-in radar motion sensor, and a crazy-wide color temperature range from 1,500K all the way to 9,000K. I walk through what’s actually in the box—multiple light bundles, mounting brackets, screws/anchors, cable clips, zip ties, extension cables (4ft and 12ft), three-way connectors, splicers (male/female), positioning cards, and even silicone sealant—so you can see if you’ll need to buy anything extra (spoiler: it’s a pretty complete kit). I also show the initial power-up and app setup using the eufy app (I like keeping everything in one ecosystem instead of mixing brands). I add the S4, connect it to Wi‑Fi, run the firmware update, and go through the scenes and AI “Magic Dice” themes—like mixing Halloween and Christmas—plus the music mode and custom effects. For installation, I call out the basics the app tells you (ladder safety, cleaning the eaves, planning the first section near power, and letting the system calculate the light string), and I’m honest: with a two-story house and lots of sides, I’d rather hire a pro for a clean install and splicing.
