About This Video

Today I’m unboxing and testing a Sun Joe cordless pole chainsaw kit and showing you what you actually get in the box, how the assembly works, and what it feels like to use it on real branches. I go over the key specs printed on the box—things like the overhead reach up to about 15 ft, the telescopic pole length range, and the weight (it’s a 2-in-1 setup, and once you extend it, you definitely feel it). I also show the bar/chain area, the stud you have to loosen, and how you line everything up before tightening it back down. After setup, I walk through the connector and how the pole section hooks up so the tool gets power through the extension. Then I point out the oil compartment and the level window—out of the box it didn’t have oil in it, so I filled it before testing. Finally, I do a real tree-branch cutting demo so you can see the performance and handling. My big takeaway: it can reach and cut high branches without a ladder, but the weight is something you need to be ready for, and safety (like using the sheath/cover) should be priority.
