About This Video

Guys, in this video I’m showing you how to replace the passenger-side mirror on a Kia Sorento, step by step. If your mirror is cracked, broken, or not folding right, this is a simple DIY fix you can do at home. I start by gently removing the small interior trim piece near the mirror—do it carefully so you don’t break the clips. Once that’s off, you’ll see the three bolts holding the mirror in, plus a screw you need to remove to get better access. After that, I pull the speaker out (just press the latch and unplug it) so I can reach the mirror wiring connection. Then I disconnect the harness and use a 10mm tool to remove the mirror bolts. I also show the replacement mirror going in—feed the plug through the hole, line up the notch, and don’t tighten everything too much at first. Once it’s seated and all bolts are started, you can tighten them down and plug the connector back in. Finally, I test the turn signal/side light, mirror movement, and everything works perfectly, then I reinstall the speaker and trim to finish it up.
