Today I unboxed and installed the Lumary Home Smart Disc Light Pro (6-inch) and did a full real-world demo so you can see exactly what you’re getting before you buy. This is a recessed-style ceiling light with a slim disc design, and what I like is you can control it over Wi‑Fi—so you don’t have to change your wall switch. I’ve used Lumary ceiling lights before and they’ve been awesome, so I was really excited to test this 4‑pack (13W, 1000lm) and see how bright it is and how the RGB aux ring looks in person. I walked through the install step-by-step: power off, springs in, and then it’s basically black-to-black and white-to-white with the included wire nuts. In my case, it worked with my existing holder, so I didn’t have to do any rewiring—super simple. Once powered on, the lights blink to pair, and Smart Life detected all four lights immediately. From the app I tested brightness, warm/cool, nightlight, scenes (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Northern lights, etc.), music/rhythm mode, timers, schedules, and even created one-tap “turn on/off living room lights” scenes. The biggest takeaway: these are super bright, the app control is fast, and the aux RGB modes look way better at night—perfect for party vibes, movie time, or just upgrading a modern smart home setup.
