About This Video

In this video, I’m unboxing the JBL PartyBox 310—call it a party speaker, karaoke speaker, whatever you want to call it. Right away, I go over what JBL is promising on the box: JBL Pro Sound, a built-in light show that syncs with your music, Bluetooth wireless streaming, and a rechargeable battery that claims up to 18 hours. I also point out something important before you buy: it doesn’t include a mic or guitar, but it does have the inputs, so you can plug them in and have a blast. After the unboxing, I walk you through the basic controls on the top (volume, play, bass, treble, echo, power, Bluetooth, and light brightness) and show the handle system—just push it and it pops up. It’s pretty heavy, but it’s made to be moved around. On the back, I show the ports and switches, including mic/guitar inputs, USB, AUX, and daisy chain in/out. Then I plug it into power, fire it up, and do a quick party test so you can actually see the lights syncing and hear that powerful bass. If you want a deeper follow-up on controls and sound settings, I ask you to tell me in the comments.
