About This Video

In this video, I unbox and install the EcoViva tankless under-sink RO system (the 800 GPD style setup) and show you exactly what to expect before you buy. I go through what’s in the box—main RO unit with four cartridges, the smart faucet with a big display, tubing, clips, drain saddle, mounting strip, and the filter wrench. Right away, I talk about the real thing most people forget: size. This unit is tall, so you really need to check your under-sink clearance, especially if you want easy filter changes. Then I walk you step-by-step through the install: faucet first (I used my old soap-dispenser hole, so I had to seal gaps because the faucet base is flat in the front), then the tubing connections (big tube for input, red for drain, thin line for faucet), and the drain saddle placement above the P-trap/U-trap area after drilling the drain pipe. Once everything is connected, I power it on, check for leaks, and let it flush (the guide says at least 20 minutes). I also show the smart faucet readings—TDS starts higher and drops as the system primes—and I explain the filter-life bars and reset steps, so you don’t have to guess when it’s time to replace anything.
