Today I unboxed and assembled the CabeVibe CabBase C2 ergonomic mesh office chair, and the first thing that surprised me was the packaging. The box is super compact compared to most office or gaming chairs I’ve ordered, and everything inside is individually wrapped so nothing gets scratched—especially the mesh. I walk you through the user manual, the hardware/tools list, and my usual recommendation: check every part first before you start, because it’s a pain to break it down later if something is missing. In the build, I show each step—from attaching the base legs and pushing in the caster wheels, to installing the Class-4 gas lift, seat mechanism, back frame, armrests, and the headrest. Once it’s assembled, I demo the adjustments I actually care about for long work/editing sessions: the headrest height/angle, the flip-up armrests with a click-out extension, and the recline tension/lock controls underneath. The big highlight for me is the lumbar support—it’s adjustable with multiple lock positions, and I can feel it touching and supporting my lower back when I sit. Overall, it feels solid, smooth, and comfortable for sitting straight for work or gaming without wrecking your back.
