With the camera he receives on his 18th birthday, Andrew has come to realize that nothing special could be said about his life. Wanting more out of the life he leads, he sets out to practice the belief that our lives our own stories to write. The camera is a metaphor for our ability to see amazing stories in other people. And when we turn that lens to ourselves for the first time and reflect, some of us experience the difficulty in answering the question of what makes our own lives special. It is a difficult one ultimately emerges stronger from.
