A review of the Canon Autoboy Tele 6. This is a film point and shoot camera and imo one the best out there. I've owned this camera for about a year now and mainly use it as an everyday camera to grab snaps that I'm not too particular about. I really enjoy shooting without having to think about focus or exposure. One thing I forgot to talk about in the video was autofocus. As of shooting around 10 rolls through it, the camera has only missed focus once or twice. So you won't have to worry about missing focus! About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the Canon Autoboy Tele 6 (also called the Shot Multi Tele 6 / Date Tele 6 depending on region), and honestly I think it’s one of the most underrated 35mm film point-and-shoots you can still pick up. I’ve owned mine for about a year and it’s become my everyday “just grab snaps” camera—when I don’t want to think about focus or exposure and I just want to capture moments. The big party trick is the lens: it’s a fixed 35mm f/3.5, but with a button it “converts” into a 60mm f/5.6 (it feels more like an internal teleconverter than a true zoom). The real highlight for me though is that this one body can shoot full-frame 35mm and half-frame. Half-frame means you can get up to 72 shots on a roll, which is super economical, but you have to choose half or full per roll (you can’t switch mid-roll). I also talk about build quality (hard plastic, not premium like a Contax), the tiny viewfinder, the automatic flash you can’t really control, and extra features like self-timer and a bulb mode that goes up to 4 seconds. For the price (around 450–500 MYR / roughly 100–200 USD), it’s a lot of value—especially compared to the crazy prices of T2/T3s and other hyped cameras that will eventually break anyway.
