Hi guys, in this video I’m doing a full face of new (and new-to-me) makeup, and I’m testing everything in a very summer-leaning way: warm tones, red cheeks, and a stained red lip. I prepped with a little Bobbi Brown Face Base (no dedicated primer) because I wanted the products to speak for themselves, then I used the L’Oreal Skin Ink as my “foundation” and paired it with the Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Concealer. Both are matte and quick-drying, so I worked in sections and focused on base prep because Skin Ink will absolutely cling to dryness if you’re not moisturised. I set with the Revlon Blur and Set powder (still loving it for how blurring it is), then added the Merit Bronze Balm over a more matte/powdered base to see if it would lift—thankfully it didn’t, and it gave a really natural glow. For colour, I went with a bold red-toned blush moment (the Kind Collective mousse is strong, so I applied it from the back of my hand for control), a simple warm eye from the Catrice palette, and I tried the Mecca Max Max Volume Tubing Mascara for the first time (I’m still a bit iffy and need more wears). I finished with the Quickscreen SPF50+ setting spray to bring life back into the matte base, then did the Kmart OXX lip stain liner + lip butter gloss combo for an easy red that lasts.
