Hi guys — in this December PR/empties/rotation roundup I’m doing what I can (these have naturally become more monthly lately), and honestly I’ve just not been consuming beauty the way I used to. I’ll always love beauty, fragrance and skincare, but I’m not feeling that “what’s the latest?” pressure anymore — and that’s kind of shaped how I’m rotating through my stash and what I’m actually excited to use. I start with what I acquired: a TK Maxx clearance find (Sand + Fog Vanilla Musk perfume oil) that I think is cute and very layerable, but a bit overhyped because of the sweeter note. Then I unbox a gorgeous Trinny London PR package (I picked three skincare pieces that intrigued me rather than a full routine) and I’m genuinely impressed by the packaging and the “splurge-worthy” feel. Then we get into empties and honest mini reviews — including a cleansing balm that’s solid but not life-changing, and a Perricone MD cleanser that was a big disappointment for me. Finally, I run through the actual face I’ve been wearing all month (primer, base, blush, highlight, eyes and fragrance), plus what I’m bringing into the next rotation so I can keep using what I own, pan things realistically, and make my combos work for me.
