In this video I tested three retro-ish audio products I got to try out: the Roseselsa Distant Mountain wired headphone, the Roseselsa Cambrian wireless over-ear, and the Earfree i5 wireless earbuds. The Distant Mountain is the star of the table for me—this super lightweight, “Guardians of the Galaxy” vibe headphone looks cool, but the bigger surprise is it actually sounds really good. I didn’t expect real bass and sub-bass out of something this small, but it straight up surprised me, especially with EDM. I also break down the Distant Mountain pad options (the default pad vs the brighter option), why I personally prefer the default tuning, and why I’d call it kind of “semi-open” even though it’s technically closed. Then I go over the Cambrian’s comfort (thick memory foam pads), build, and honestly impressive noise cancelling, plus the app features like EQ presets, game mode, multipoint, and LDAC (on supported devices). Finally, I compare it with the Earfree i5: similar app features and tuning, but way more portable—and I’ll be real, I’m more of an earbud guy for daily walking around.
