For $300, it’s honestly one of my favorite headphones I’ve ever had my hands on because it hits that rare line between “audiophile enough” detail and “normal person fun” bass. I go over the unboxing/accessories (balanced cable included, swappable ends, adapters), the updated build (better hinge design, nicer headband, big cups with a lot of swivel), and how cup positioning actually changes the sound. Sound-wise, the easiest way I describe the FT13 is a fun U/V-shaped tuning: big bass, slightly emphasized treble, and a midrange that’s a bit stepped back. The sub-bass is deeper than the FT1 and you don’t just hear it—you feel it, with a huge “doesn’t sound like a closed-back” stage. I compare it directly against the FT1, Sivga Robin Pro, FiiO JT7, and FT1 Pro, and I also bring up gaming: the angled drivers plus imaging make it stupid easy to track footsteps.
