Today I’m finally back with some brand new Pokémon content, and we’re continuing the Mega Evolution gold hunting with the brand-new Mega Evolution ETBs. Mine were sadly delayed (even though it felt like everybody else on YouTube had them already), but we finally got both in hand: the Mega Lucario ETB and the Mega Gardevoir ETB. I break down what’s actually inside—newer, more organized packaging, the energy blocks with that Mega Evolution silhouette, the return of the coin (which we did not get in the Scarlet & Violet era ETBs), the sleeves, dice, and the promos (Riolu for Lucario, Alakazam for Gardevoir). I also flip through the booklet to call out big chase cards and what’s moving right now. Then we rip all 18 packs and talk pulls, playables, and whether these boxes feel worth it. The Lucario ETB gave me a Mega Lucario full art, a Mega Gardevoir EX, and a Delibird illustration rare. The Gardevoir ETB added a Mega Absol EX, another Mega Gardevoir EX (duplicate), and a Vulpix illustration rare. Overall, it was 6 hits out of 18 packs—about a third—which honestly felt rough, especially with the lack of variety. If you’re buying these for big chases like golds/SIRs, just know the hype doesn’t guarantee the pull rate.
