What’s up, YouTube—this is PokéTrainerLair, and this one’s a quick 2026 channel update because I wanted to talk to you all directly. The biggest thing is simple: Pokémon product is cooked right now. It’s been super hard for me to get cards—especially anywhere near MSRP—because I’ve got no distribution over here, and that’s a huge reason the upload volume has been low. That said, I’m working on a loophole with a couple people to try and get wholesale pricing so I can actually open more product for you guys again. On top of that, I’ve got a website being worked on every day and it’s coming very soon—poketrainerlair.com. The plan is to have product, singles, and more up there, starting with stuff from my own collection while I keep pushing to get newer inventory. Content-wise, I’m also going to connect the dots between my decklist Shorts and longer gameplay videos on Pokémon TCG Live, since that’s a way to keep consistent content rolling even when sealed product is hard to source. I also talked sponsors (VaultX, Cardtrader, and Dueling Guard) and the idea of channel memberships. We’ve hit the threshold, but I’m still figuring out what makes sense at 11.5K subs—so I’m asking you: what perks would you actually want? I’m thinking monthly giveaways and website discounts/MSRP access for members, but I want your input as we push toward 15K this year.
