I was literally about to open a Perfect Order booster box and an ETB… then I took a nap and woke up to absolute chaos. My son went ham on the packaging and basically dismantled everything—ETB ripped up, dice all over the carpet, booster box torn apart. The one blessing? He didn’t open a single booster pack. So I counted every pack, made sure they were all still sealed, and then I rebuilt the box/ETB as best as I could… even though everything was mixed, so pull rates were basically “whatever happens, happens.” From there, I rip 45 packs total and talk through why Perfect Order is a smaller, post-rotation main set that feels way more player-centric than collector-centric. I’m hunting Meowth ex hard (because it’s basically the Luminion V-style supporter search and it’s just broken for post-rotation), plus I’m happy to see Poké Pad back and easier to pull than in Ascended Heroes. We end with 18 total hits, including two Meowth ex (finally), a Full Art Poké Pad, a Mega Zygarde ex Full Art, and a stack of playable stuff. Not an SIR day, but for what this opening started as… I’ll take the win.
