Today I’m ripping into more Phantasmal Flames—specifically 4 booster bundles (24 packs) that got delayed—and I’m doing it “for science” to test the pull rates. I open each bundle one by one, track how many hits we’re getting per bundle, and I’m straight-up on the hunt for the Mega Charizard SIR (and I wouldn’t say no to another gold card either). Early on, the bundles felt pretty cold at two hits per bundle, but I still picked up some solid stuff like Ignition Energy full art (super playable) and more Mega Lopunny EX—huge for me because I’m trying to build that Mega Pony deck. Halfway through, I cool off by tossing in two Phantasmal Flames 3-pack blisters because I needed the Cosmo Holo promos for the master set. Those blisters treated me better, and then the later bundles finally started heating up with pulls like Dunsparce SIR, Nimble IR, Battle Cage full art, and a bunch of EXs. And then… last booster bundle, last pack magic… I finally pulled the Mega Charizard SIR. I’m not even gonna lie, I had to dig through the trash for sleeves because I was losing it—this has been one of my biggest hunts of the year, and we finally did it.
