I also got into the whole luxury store experience thing: niche fragrance shops with amazing selections but weird, controlling rules—no touching testers, staff spraying everything for you, stale tester strips, and that overall snooty vibe. I’ve had similar experiences in London, and I compared it to places like Javoy in Mayfair where they actually let you explore freely. My biggest takeaway: if you’re a content creator, ask permission before filming, and if you’re a customer being disrespected, just leave and don’t reward it with your money. Oh—and double check links before you send someone a “$300 perfume” request, because ordering the wrong bottle is genuinely heartbreaking.
