I also get into old-school Tom Ford and why the brand just hasn’t felt the same since Tom Ford lost creative control—Plum Japonais is still one of those “bring it back” scents for me. And yes, I cover Alien Essence Absolue too: medicinal vanilla, super divisive, and I’m still annoyed I sold mine cheap before it blew up in resale value. I also touch on designer discontinuations (Armani Code Absolu, Invictus Legend, etc.) and the rumor mill—like Vanilla Diorama potentially being pulled because Dior caps the number of fragrances in that line.
