About This Video

In this video I’m talking about the kind of fragrances that make people do a double take—because no one believes they’re actually affordable. I’m featuring five scents (plus a bonus vibe) that smell way more expensive than their price tag, and I’m really big on having a mix of budget-friendly and pricey bottles in your collection. Not every day needs your most expensive fragrance, but you can still smell high class on a budget. I go through everything from a super classy fig-and-sandalwood combo (fig with that woody “pencil shavings” vibe) to a modern chypre that gives you a foresty greenness without smelling like literal grass. I also share one of my all-time favorite “fresh out the shower” citrus scents with a minty mojito twist, a heavily discounted iris that smells like proper quality, and a newer La Nuit Trésor flanker that’s a classy older-sister take—cocoa dusting, rose, and a smoother sweetness. To finish, I revisit a boozy plum-honey-rum caramel gem that changes beautifully on skin and smells far more expensive than it is.
