We’re hitting the trails in Moab, Utah for the 2nd Annual ZR2 Red Rock Rally, where Chevrolet ZR2 trucks from across the country come together for an unforgettable off-road adventure. Day 3 of our Moab wheeling takes us onto 3D Trail. The trail starts out in a sandy wash with some fun, fast-paced sections before climbing high onto a mesa. As we make our way up, we’re rewarded with incredible views of Moab while tackling rocky ledges, steep climbs, and technical obstacles that keep things exciting, including some big wheel lifts along the way. From sand washes to technical rock sections, this trail delivers a little bit of everything that makes Moab off-roading so iconic. Whether you’re here for ZR2 builds, Moab trail runs, off-road tips, or just the chaos and fun of wheeling with friends, you’re in the right place. 2026 Red Rock Rally Information: https://www.facebook.com/events/1429656941861564 Subscribe for More Offroading, Overland, and ZR2 content ➡️https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkjK5XQ5pypY19ca5S89wnw?sub_confirmation=1⬅️ Follow Us on Social Media Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/outlandishoverland/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087731377962 #ZR2 #Moab #OffRoad #RedRockRally #ChevyZR2 #Overlanding #TrailGuide

About This Video

Day three of the ZR2 Red Rock Rally in Moab had us rolling with the Red Group on the 3D Trail, and this one really does have everything. We start with a steep sandy descent that drops straight into a fast, fun sandy wash, then the whole vibe changes as the sand turns into slickrock and we start climbing up onto the mesa. I’m riding in the lead truck with Mike, and we’re using Trails Off-Road for mapping—seeing upcoming waypoints (like the S-turns and obstacles) takes a lot of the guessing out of the trail. Once we’re up on the rock, it gets technical: wet, slippery climbs from the rain, ledges, and a mandatory hill that looks mild on camera but is steep with dips that love to kill momentum. We spot each other through, talk throttle and momentum (“more beans”), and even deal with a quick hang-up where Mike taps his lower rear shock mount on a rock and we back him up to reposition. One of my favorite parts is watching different lines—some spicy, some safe—especially when lockers aren’t cooperating. And if you want the pucker factor, 3D delivers with off-camber sections that lift a rear wheel way up in the air before we finish on a final obstacle and end the day at an overlook with unreal Moab views—then it’s back to camp to prep for Poison Spider (and weather we didn’t see coming).
