We’re hitting the trails in Moab, Utah for the 2nd Annual ZR2 Red Rock Rally, where Chevrolet ZR2 trucks from across the country come together for an unforgettable off-road adventure. Day 4 of our Moab wheeling takes us to Poison Spider. Already known as a difficult and technical trail, Poison Spider becomes an entirely different level of intensity as heavy rain moves in. Slick rock, muddy climbs, and unpredictable traction turn every obstacle into a true test of skill, line choice, and vehicle capability. About This Video

Day 4 of the 2025 ZR2 Red Rock Rally in Moab was the grand finale, and we saved Poison Spider for last—because apparently we like suffering. We rolled out with a six-truck ZR2 run group, and less than a mile in we were already stacking rocks to keep rear bumpers and skid plates from getting chewed up. The trail is technical on a good day, but the weather had other plans. What started as “rain later” turned into steady downpour, and Poison Spider in the wet is a whole different level of intensity. We hit the optional hard lines anyway (because of course we did), then worked through the mandatory stuff like the Waterfall—except this time it was legit a waterfall running down it. Trucks were sliding sideways, line choice mattered more than ever, and being fully locked still wasn’t a magic fix when the rock turned to grease. We dealt with a quick trail repair (a wedged rock in a shield/skid area), talked traction control killing momentum in soft sand, and even got a proper deep water crossing with a nice bow wave. I also kept the music minimal so you can hear the rain, tires, and engines—let me know if you want more of that in future videos.
