We’re hitting the trails in Moab, Utah, for the 2nd Annual ZR2 Red Rock Rally, where Chevrolet ZR2s from across the country come together for off-road adventures! Day 2 of our Moab off-road adventure takes us onto the iconic 7 Mile Rim Trail, one of the best combination trails in the area for technical obstacles and sweeping views. This trail climbs high onto the mesa, rewarding us with incredible overlooks of Moab while keeping things interesting with rocky ledges, steep climbs, and technical sections along the way. While exploring 7 Mile Rim, we made a last-minute decision to take a detour and tackle the infamous Wipeout Hill, a steep, technical obstacle that tests traction, line choice, and driver confidence. With our Chevy Colorado ZR2s, we pushed through one of the most challenging sections of the day and came out the other side with smiles and a serious adrenaline rush. If you’re planning an off-road trip to Moab or want to see what trails like 7 Mile Rim and Wipeout Hill are really like, this video gives you a true look at the terrain, the views, and the challenges that make Moab a world-class off-roading destination. Whether you’re here for off-road tips, ZR2 content, Moab trails, or just the chaos and fun of wheeling with friends, you’re in the right place. About This Video

Day 2 of the 2nd Annual ZR2 Red Rock Rally had us rolling onto Seven Mile Rim in Moab, and it started a little different for us. Our truck was still down with the ECM acting up again, so Nicole and I jumped in with Michael from Level Up Suspension as the official passenger princesses so we could still get out there and wheel with the green group. We ran an eight-truck convoy, linked back up after Jose dipped into town, and immediately got into the good stuff—ledge drops, three-wheel action, and those slow, controlled climbs where you really feel the truck work. Seven Mile Rim is one of my favorite “combo” trails out here because it gives you technical rock crawling and big mesa-top views in the same run. We hit optional harder lines (because… we’re here to have fun), dealt with slick spots and rare Moab water from the recent rain, and later I even took the wheel in Mike’s second gen ZR2 to finish out the trail. Then we made the last-minute call to stop at Wipeout Hill. Watching everyone build confidence, drop in, and then claw back up with a crowd forming was pure chaos in the best way—traction, line choice, and commitment all matter there. We wrapped the day cruising a sandy wash, already hyped for the next trails.
