About This Video

In this video I’m out in Idaho running the Magruder Corridor with the Harker Outdoors crew on a customer-hosted trip. We roll in deep—about 10 or 11 other Harker rigs—air down, do a quick driver’s meeting, and start climbing into the mountains. It’s one of those routes that earns its reputation: long stretches of dirt, big views, and the kind of remote backcountry that makes you realize most people have no idea this place exists. We stop at Nez Perce Pass to soak up some history and the sweeping overlooks, then keep pushing through the corridor. At one viewpoint we even debate whether we’re looking at a moose on the ridge… turns out it’s just a rock. The highlight detour is Burnt Knob Lookout—steep, rocky, and one of the few times on this run where 4-low was actually necessary. We race the weather, make it to the top, and immediately get hammered with pea-sized hail like I’m out there doing a weather report. After a full day—about 150 miles of dirt—we roll into camp, crush dinner, then cap it off with a soak at Red River Hot Springs. Remote trails, real weather, and a solid convoy day in the Idaho backcountry.
