About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down a legit game-changer for the 2023+ Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon off-road crowd: sway bar endlink quick disconnects from Level Up Suspension. If you’ve been around my channel since I picked up the Colorado ZR2, you’ve probably seen my homemade disconnect setup that my brother designed (I ran that for about a year with no issues). But now there’s finally a real, purpose-built option on the market—and the quality difference is obvious. I’ve been testing these Level Up disconnects for the last two months with about 1,000 miles of trails, and they’ve been absolutely fantastic. I cover what the disconnects do (pull the pins and the sway bar is free), why you’d want them, and what comes in the kit. The biggest benefit—hands down—is how much smoother the truck feels on washboard and rough roads with the sway bar disconnected. For IFS trucks like the ZR2, it’s a night and day difference, like dropping from 45 PSI to 15 PSI. You’ll also pick up a little extra articulation based on my real-world experience. I also explain why I don’t recommend permanently removing your sway bar: I want stability on-road, especially with added weight, and the option to disconnect off-road. Then I walk through the install step-by-step, including the included bracket and bungee that keeps the sway bar from drooping and becoming a rock-catching hazard when it’s disconnected.
