About This Video

What’s going on, guys? In this video I break down what I honestly think is the best-looking front bumper for the 2023+ Chevy Colorado ZR2: the 589 Fabrication Rallye Fighter Front Bumper (this is the updated version two). Before we even turn a wrench, I go over the features that matter on technical trails—real wrap-around protection, higher wings for better clearance, winch capability, light cutouts, optional bullbar, and the fact that it includes a replacement skid plate since you’re deleting the factory one. I’m also weight-conscious on my overland build, and this bumper + skid came in at 114 lbs on my scale (not counting the winch/lights), which is solid for how beefy it is. Then I walk you through the install step-by-step: pulling the factory skids, recovery hooks, fender liners, and bumper, removing the crash bar, trimming a couple tabs, and doing minimal cutting on the fog light bezels so the center section mounts correctly. I also show how I fit a Badlands ZXR 12,000 lb winch with a small handle mod, plus my Ox Beam V-series light setup. I wrap it up with the little finishing details—trimming and securing the fender liner so it doesn’t flap or rub, and bolting up the new skid plate for a clean final result.
