About This Video

Good morning you guys—this is the very last day of Vlogmas 2024 (I still can’t believe I did that). In this video I’m bringing you along for a super realistic morning in my life: a quick GRWM vibe, a simple at-home workout I’m loving right now, and what I eat for breakfast before we head out to see Quinn’s family. I was feeling a little under the weather, bloated, and I’m due for my period, so I wanted something achievable that still gives you a good burn without the pressure of the gym. The workout is a Pilates-inspired arm session with just a mat and 3 lb dumbbells—proof you don’t need fancy equipment to feel sore (in the best way). I walk you through six upper-body focused moves targeting biceps, shoulders, and triceps, plus form cues I swear by (core braced, ribs not flared, no momentum, elbows tracking properly on lateral raises). I also share beginner-friendly options for tricep push-ups and encourage you to write your workout down ahead of time if you deal with gym anxiety. Then I make my current breakfast obsession: yam patties as a “bun” with pan-fried eggs, avocado, and a special sauce. It’s my favorite bread substitute lately—especially because in Canada the options can feel limited, and I’m trying to stay away from enriched flours going into the new year.
