In this video I’m refining my full body recovery routine (physical, mental, and emotional) because I’m the first to admit it: I love working out, but I tend to neglect rest and recovery. After a tough Pilates class and then spending about two hours filming workout content (aka basically exercising for two hours straight), my body was exhausted—so I took you through the reset I’m trying to prioritize going into the new year. I start with my post-workout skincare for my oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin: salicylic acid cleansing (I double cleanse), patting dry with a microfiber towel, and using Paula’s Choice 2% BHA to help with buildup and texture. I keep it simple with a gel moisturizer (Skinfix) and finish with my Laneige lip mask. Then I move into stretching and my Shakti mat + guided meditation combo—this is my habit-stacking moment because meditating “normally” has never been consistent for me. I use the Open app for a 10-minute daily meditation to help me relax into it. I also planned to sauna, but the local options didn’t work out that day—so I wrapped up by sharing the three supplements I’ve been taking daily: D3 + K2, grass-fed beef liver (my skin-glow favorite), and a hair complex while I’m on my hair-health journey.
