Good morning you guys—this was a super chill, cozy, Christmas-themed Sunday in my life for vlogmas day 15. I started the day by volunteering with my mom to wrap gifts for the Angel Tree program in my city, and honestly… it was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. We wrapped for about two hours and it was such sweet mother-daughter time, but seeing how many kids (336!) are in need really put everything into perspective. A lot of what we wrapped weren’t even “fun” gifts—so many were basic necessities like winter boots, jackets, and razors, and it really reminded me to stop taking those things for granted. After that, I made the call to stay home instead of rushing to a lowkey family get-together, because mentally it just made more sense for me. I got work done, took the pups out for a good romp (the weather finally cooperated), and then made my go-to dinner: my chili chicken. I showed you how I throw together the easiest marinade—soy sauce (or coconut aminos), hoisin, ginger, honey, and my absolute must-have Singapore chili sauce—then I finished the night decorating my mom and dad’s Christmas tree with my niece. It was one of those wholesome, reset Sundays that sets me up to start the week on the right foot.
