About This Video

Picking an army in Age of Sigmar is hard, so in this video I walk through the big question: should you play Disciples of Tzeentch—aka the faction that’s always right, even when it goes wrong. With the new battletome landing basically right now (and a brand new Fate Master hero), I cover what the army is actually about on the table: lots of wizards, lots of spells, and a pile of tricks that can make your opponent feel like they’re playing against a magic show instead of a normal game. I break down the new core mechanics like All Part of the Plan (banking Fate Points when priority, casting, objectives, or terrain go sideways), the reserve/swap game from Eldritch Illusions and Smoke and Mirrors, and the Argent Shards faction terrain that lets you sling spells through the board while keeping your casters safe. Then I go through the battle formations and what they push you toward—big charge payoffs, Fate Point generation, spending rebates, and true deep strike pressure. Finally, I start digging into the range: the key heroes (Kairos, Lord of Change, Changeling, Cursling, Fate Master, etc.) and staples like Horrors, Flamers, and utility pieces that make Tzeentch feel slippery, technical, and brutally rewarding once you learn the buff/debuff engine.
