About This Video

In this video I walk you through how I’ve been playing Warhammer Age of Sigmar on Tabletop Simulator—something I only started using just over a week ago. I figured I’d need a ton of time to “learn the software” before making a guide, but honestly it’s just that easy. The big reason it works so well is the community: people have built incredible tables, scanned the models, and organized everything so you can get a game going fast, even if your local scene is dead or your best opponents live in another time zone. I start with the basics: buying Tabletop Simulator on Steam (it goes on sale a lot), then grabbing the key Steam Workshop mods—tables plus model packs. I show two different ways to access models (Ulthuan’s “load models” style and Malkavich’s bag/search system), how I build a list by cloning units, arranging ranks with number hotkeys, and saving the whole army as a saved object for quick deployment later. Then we jump onto the 4th Edition tables to set terrain and battleplans with one-click placement, use GHB states for mission/deployment overlays, roll dice efficiently, track tokens, measure with Tab, and handle movement/rotation without panic (Escape is your best friend). Finally, I cover where to actually find games—AOS Coach Discord is basically instant matchmaking.
