About This Video

It’s a big week for Age of Sigmar, and I’m finally back to talk through what’s coming: two battletomes landing at once (which is honestly a bit of a pace-up), plus the looming Friday preview show that’s basically screaming “new army.” I’m expecting Chaos Dwarves, and yeah, I’m excited—but I also have that little voice in my head reminding me how hard it is to actually build, finish, and play yet another army. Still, if they show Chorfs, it’s going to be hard not to get tempted. On the battletome side, I go through Blades of Khorne first: the new Spearhead with Karanak and Flesh Hounds, a new Deathbringer hero with a spicy “kill you outright” style rule, the Goreblade War Band box with a bunch of classic mortal Khorne pieces, and a Regiment of Renown that I genuinely love as a “buy it, play it” package. Then I dig into Kharadron Overlords: new Spearhead, the Null-Khemist as their answer to magic/manifestations, a faction terrain dock that spits out little auto-engines (basically KO mini-manifestation vibes), and Drekkie’s Regiment of Renown for anyone who wants an excuse to paint a ship. Rules-wise, the KO transport restriction is a real shakeup—nerfing some of the trickier plays—so I’m expecting shooting buffs and stronger internal tools to compensate. Between anti-mortal tech, banish options, and new ship upgrades, it looks like KO is getting rewritten into a different, more modern rules identity.
