In this video I’m going over the biggest winners from the September 2025 Battlescroll for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. I did a “big losers” video already, so this is the flip side—but with the same disclaimer: a faction getting help doesn’t automatically mean it’s about to be broken or become the new meta king. I’m still a relative beginner on the truly competitive side, so I’m not here to tell you what’s “solved”—I’m giving my read based on watching games, tracking tournament results, and lurking in the usual Discord/Reddit corners. I start with Blades of Khorne, because the Skull for the Skull Throne change (once per turn instead of once per battle round) is a huge quality-of-life and power bump for actually spending Blood Tithe and progressing the “skill tree” faster. On top of that, every Bloodthirster dropping in points is a big deal—especially with Wrath of Khorne now at 400, making five Bloodthirsters in the Army of Renown possible. Then I talk Gloomspite Gitz, who I genuinely think are going to be good after this: big points drops across Squigs, Troggs, and key heroes, plus the Sunsteala Wheela careening destruction change letting you do the move-through mortals trick on both turns. I also cover big “all green” point drops for Seraphon, Stormcast Eternals, and Ironjawz (with some skepticism on Ironjawz because their core problems aren’t fixed), and I wrap with honorable mentions for Sylvaneth, Hedonites of Slaanesh, and Slaves to Darkness.
