About This Video

In this video I break down the biggest losers of the September 2025 Battlescroll for Warhammer Age of Sigmar—meaning the factions that came out worse through points hikes, rules nerfs, or both. I split this into a losers and winners format on purpose, because I don’t want to do a mindless live-read; I actually went through the scroll, took notes, and checked what people were saying in faction spaces so I could give a more informed take. I start with Cities of Sigmar (my army), where the big story is Pontifex Zenestra. Word of the God-King getting restricted to my turn and requiring visibility is totally fair, but the teleport/prayer changes are the real hit: no scooping units out of combat, no opponent-turn shenanigans, tighter placement rules, and it basically turns “resetting charges” into a multi-turn process. I also cover the rest of the Cities points changes (some sensible, some baffling—like Steelhelms and the poor dwarf hammers catching stray bullets) and why I still think Cities will be fine, just less oppressive. From there I hit Kharadron Overlords (stacked rules + points nerfs), Daughters of Khaine (mostly points), Lumineth (points plus paid formations pushing you into specific temples), Fyreslayers (magma-lizard style lists getting pricier), Flesh-eater Courts (heroes/units/terrain pressure), and Kruleboyz (a brutal combination of points and paid enhancements). I close by calling out Regiments of Renown increases—Saviors of Cinderfall and Skyport Prophetteers—because those packages were warping list building across Order.
