In this video I break down every Age of Sigmar reveal from the Warhammer New Year Preview Show, and I pulled info from both Warcom and the stream because there was a surprising amount said on-stream that never made it into the articles. I brought my brother Jack along, and we start with Ossiarch Bonereapers—because, yeah, one of my brothers is getting into OBR, so this was a big day in the household. I go over the new Mortekch Triaxes shooting unit (including the Bailfire Brazier token that shuts off healing/returning models), the Mortise Reapers as terrain-teleporting anti-hero assassins, and the Liege Mortarch-style foot hero who can chain-fight or even chain-shoot your Triaxes in the combat phase. I also talk chariots (including the hero chariot’s durability and mortal impact combos) and the new “spend points to power abilities” army-rule concept—plus my worry that it could push restrictive list building if Katakros is basically a points battery. Then we pivot to Disciples of Tzeentch: the new Fatemaster foot hero, the absolutely wild Argent Shards faction terrain that moves, channels spells, and is hard to permanently kill, and the shift from Destiny Dice to Fate Points earned when things go wrong (unbinds, losing objectives/priority, miscasts, shards dying). Finally, I cover Lumineth’s new foot Lord Regent, the move from Facets of War to a rune-burning, potentially combo/stacking battle-round system, and I rapid-fire the new bundle boxes (battleforces, spearheads, regiments of renown) with my takes on value and what actually looks playable—especially in Spearhead, where a lot of recent boxes have been rough.
