About This Video

Good morning, friends! In this “regular mom day” vlog, I’m bringing you along as we start a brand new homeschool week on a snowy Monday. The kids jump into their morning subjects, and I share how the Winter Olympics were so fun for our family… but also how they really started taking over our schedule. Between watching events during lunch and squeezing school around it, it was a lot—so this week I’m ready to take some of that time back and get into a more normal rhythm. I also share a simple, cozy lunch idea using leftovers (my favorite on school days): a creamy chicken soup with potatoes and carrots, plus some crackers and cheese on the side. For homeschool, we’re wrapping up our Gather Round entrepreneurship unit study, and I give my honest thoughts—this one hasn’t been our favorite, and the kids definitely had opinions too. Later, I run out in full winter gear (because the wind is no joke), fill up the van on a cheaper gas day, and grab a few quick essentials at Walmart—flour, butter, and vitamin C—since we’ve been battling a long stretch of sickness in our house. We end the day with an easy dinner win: Charity preps a big pot of chili, and that’s a wrap.
