In this video I’m back on the 2020-2024 Toyota Highlander with another super simple mod from my friends at CarTrimHome: interior door handle bowl LED lights. If you’ve driven a Highlander at night, you already know it gets kinda dark inside, so these add that clean ambient glow right where you grab the door handle. The cool part is they turn on anytime your headlights/running lights are on, and the blue matches the factory blue on the steering wheel and window/lock switches so it honestly looks like it should’ve come from Toyota. I walk you through the install step-by-step on the front and the rear doors. It’s plug-and-play and you don’t have to remove the whole door panel, which makes it perfect for beginners. I show where to run the wire (use the center opening, not the push-pin holes), how to piggyback the harness at the window switch connector, and why I zip-tie the extra slack so it doesn’t slap around inside the door. After testing everything in daylight and at night, I give it a straight-up 10/10: perfect fitment, not too dim or too bright, and it snaps in tight like factory.
