About This Video

In this video I’m working on my C7 Z51 Stingray and doing a full step-by-step install of the SuperAutoUSA Stage 3 Z06 style spoiler with the wicker bill (fits 2014–2019 C7). I’ve been wanting to upgrade the factory Z51 spoiler for a while because I like having something back there—C7s look weird to me with nothing on the rear. SuperAutoUSA sent this kit out, and I also wrapped the new spoiler in the same forged carbon wrap I’ve got on my hood and side skirt accents so everything matches. I walk through the unboxing, show the height and shape difference versus the Z51 spoiler, and then get into the install, which is definitely more on the higher scale because you’ve got to pull the rear bumper to access the hardware. I show the tools you’ll need (T15, 7mm, 10mm, trim tools, painters tape, thread locker, 3M tape) and a few real-world tips—like using a box under the bumper if you’re solo, protecting paint when popping the taillight bezels, and mimicking the factory tape placement. Fitment was close but not perfect on my car, so I explain how I lightly slotted a couple holes to get everything lined up. Then I install the winglets and the tinted wicker bill, and I’ll be honest—at first I wasn’t sure about the wicker bill off the car, but once it was on, I ended up liking it, especially in the lowest position. Final result is a way more aggressive, track-inspired rear end that totally transforms the look.
